Almond Butter Breakfast Bite

2.5 oz. Banana, ripe, mashed

1.3 oz. Almond Butter, blanched

2.9 oz. Oats, rolled

1 oz. Almond Flour, blanched

2 oz. Strawberries, freeze-dried

0.3 oz. Golden Flax Meal

1.5 oz. Water

1.4 oz. Almonds, roasted, sliced (non-blanched)

0.1 oz. Cinnamon

0.1 oz. Vanilla Extract

0.8 oz. Honey

pinch Sea Salt

0.2 oz. Baking Soda



  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a standing mixer, combine bananas and almond butter. Mix until smooth.
  • Add all the remaining ingredients and mix until well combined.
  • Using a 1-ounce ice cream scoop, scoop small balls of the dough and place on a sheet tray lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 15 minutes.
  • Let cool. Serve.

*Note: This breakfast bite can be frozen and then thawed for a firmer texture or left as is for a softer texture.

To the Almond Board: You need to convert the measurements into regular household measurements (cups, tsp, Tbs). Most people do not have digital scales in their homes to weight out the ingredients.

I am curious why the measurements are in such strange amounts that are difficult for us americans to measure out. I want to make it, but need to figure out how to do it!

Sounds delicious, but I don't enjoy using oz. as a measurement, so will not attempt this one.

Well they look tasty. But no-where do I see what one serving conststs of....and it looks like we get to figure out the smart points for ourselves. Not very helpful. Plus recipes with ingredients like blanched almond flour and golden flax meal are not helpful either.

Having a hard time getting past converting oz to an easier form of measurement like tsp and TBS. when reviewing nutritional information could not see where the sugar info was.

This was sent to me as part of a Weight Watchers communication. You don't provide the smart points value of a serving and without including the sugar content in the nutritional info, we cannot calculate the smart points.
