Air District Rolls Out Next Round of Ag Equipment Replacement Incentive Funds
The San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District has announced the next round of incentive funding to assist in the purchase of cleaner-burning farm equipment. The Air District will open up for co-funding requests on Oct. 15 and funds will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. The amount co-funded will depend on the usage pattern and horsepower of the equipment being replaced. The focus is on equipment with Tier 0 or Tier 1 motors. Hulling/shelling and processing equipment is also eligible, according to the ARB definition of agricultural operations. Application form and eligibility details can be found at the Air District’s website.
