Second Year of Consumer Advertising Kicks Off in India

This fall, Almond Board of California will continue advertising in India, leveraging the powerful influence of Bollywood actress and almond ambassador Karisma Kapoor. The advertisements will build momentum toward the peak holiday season and winter consumption period for almonds in the north and west of the country. Eighteen television channels will air promotional spots for California Almonds directly targeted at Indian women, especially mothers. Almond Board will also employ year-round print advertising in specific lifestyle magazines.
