Snacking Seminar Gathers Top Russian Manufacturers

Almond Board of California has conducted its first educational seminar in Russia devoted solely to the snack sector, a key priority area for the industry.

The purpose of the activity was to educate Russian snack-sector manufacturers on almond fundamentals, to inspire innovation, and to favor almonds as the nut of choice in the snack category.

A post-event survey revealed that 67% of participants are going to increase volume of almond purchases in the next 12 months, and 52% will develop new product ranges with almonds.
