Our ideal candidate requirements:
- Ability to build database structures based on detailed design and configure replication
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft SQL Server, Access Databases, and the MS 365
- Knowledge of
- Cloud services such as Azure and AWS
- Microsoft Windows Active Directory
- Oracle Database Architecture
- Veeam Enterprise Backup
- Database services and management as well as principles and pracies of database analysis and evaluation
- Critical thinking, logical thought processes, and complex problem solving skills
Typical duties:
- Create shell scripts and SQL scripts
- Identify gaps in scripts and procedures
- Maintain and test backup and recovery processes, maintain disaster recovery plan
- Normalize data across all sources
- Seet up and maintain test and production databases
- Review new DBMS releases with end users to understand business and technical impacts
- Monitor and analyze activity to proactively identify and prevent incidents and recommend performance improvements
