The Almond Board of California (ABC) is seeking a senior leader for our finance, analytics, technology, and administrative teams who has a proven track record of owning, developing, and executing FP&A capabilities along with demonstrating comprehensive strategic thinking about the operation to drive improvements. This position will be located at our headquarters in Modesto, CA. and serve as a member of our Executive team. ABC is a federal marketing order which operates with USDA oversight and has an annual revenue of $90 million.

Our ideal candidate requirements:

This future leader at ABC must have an in-depth knowledge of:

  • Budget development, financial planning, forecasting, analytics, and accounting
  • Managing strategic operational development including forward-thinking leadership and resource identification to meet Board, committee, and industry objectives
  • Information technology principles and practices along with data warehouse management to optimize business analytics

This professional will also possess the following skills and experience:

  • Leading, motivating, evaluating, mentoring, and developing a high performing team
  • Exceptionally strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
  • Strategic thinker who builds comprehensive data-based foundations to draw conclusions and make recommendations
  • 15 + years professional experience in financial management with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior managerial or executive role
