James Fillmore is the Senior Manager of Information Technology for the Almond Board of California managing the entire Information Technology, DevOps and security infrastructure.

Prior to joining the Almond Board, James spent seven years as a business manager, IT director, and part owner, with Charter Solutions and H-Wire Technology Solutions where he helped several schools implement new technology infrastructure and policies to ensure the safety of employees and students.

James moved to the San Francisco Bay area just before middle school and has called California home ever since, growing up in the Bay Area during the silicon revolution of the 1990’s. He started working in technology at 16 years old and has been in IT ever since. He holds two Microsoft Certified System Engineer certificates, as well as Pro Audio certificates and several other industry specific certificates.

James moved to Modesto after meeting his wife, Tara, there. They continue to live there with their two dogs, Macey and Riley.
