Mocha Almonds



  • 120g whole natural almonds
  • 1 tsp instant coffee powder
  • 2 tbsp instant hot chocolate powder
  1. Put the almonds into a dry frying pan and heat for about 1-2 minutes, then add 1 tbsp water, along with the coffee powder and 1 tbsp chocolate powder. Stir for a few moments until the liquid has evaporated and the almonds are coated, then remove from the heat and cool. Add the rest of the chocolate powder and toss to coat. Share between 4 little pots or tins and tuck into for a nutritious, delicious snack.
  2. TIP: You could leave out the coffee powder if you prefer a more chocolately flavour – and for more intensity, use cocoa powder instead of instant hot chocolate, though add a little caster sugar too.
