The Almond Conference 2019, also held at Cal Expo, was a success as it saw the highest attendance and number of exhibitors in the history of the event.

(March 20, 2020) – The Almond Conference (TAC), the premier almond industry event that draws members of the almond community from across the globe, will return to Cal Expo this December. The decision came after the Almond Board of California (ABC), host of the conference, was alerted by the City of Sacramento of construction delays at the Sacramento Convention Center that will likely result in the facility not being open in time for the conference. The convention dates, December 8-10, 2020, will remain the same.

Following TAC 2018, the City of Sacramento began a large-scale remodel and expansion of the Sacramento Convention Center, which had been home to The Almond Conference since 2012. As a result, the Almond Board and its conference planning team, Mosaic Event Management, chose to host TAC 2019 at Cal Expo in Sacramento. By all accounts, the 2019 conference was a success as it saw the highest attendance and number of exhibitors in the history of the event.

Plans are underway to make the experience even better than that of 2019, which was very well received by attendees who enjoyed the ample, easy-access parking and overall feel of the home of the California State Fair. Similar to the 2019 conference, while the 2020 event will have a slightly different look and feel than conferences held at the Convention Center, the quality of exhibits, presentations and networking opportunities will be second to none for the California almond industry.

Mark your calendars today and plan to “Join the Journey” towards a great TAC 2020!
