Principal Specialist, Global Technical and Regulatory Affairs

The Almond Board of California is in search of a key addition to our Global Technical and Regulatory Affairs team, based in Modesto, CA. The Principal Specialist will assist in the establishment and cultivation of key government relationships in conjunction with the ongoing identification and monitoring of global technical/regulatory issues; oversee the development of position statements and market information; work with regulators and industry members on a global level in resolving import issues and other market access situations; and contribute to the development of mitigation strategies and evaluation of trade/technical issues.

Specialist, Field Outreach and Education

The Almond Board of California is looking to add a new member to our Field Outreach and Education team in our Global Communications department. This is a remote role working out of your home in the southern Central Valley, preferably in the Fresno vicinity. The principal focus of this position is outreach and education to accelerate grower adoption of almond orchard best management practices to help ensure that California almond production remains an economically, environmentally and socially responsible crop. This position will work with growers to improve almond growing practices through one-on-one grower visits, virtual visits, group in-the-orchard events, and other outreach activities within the southern Central Valley.

Sr. Analyst, Governmental Affairs

The Almond Board of California is looking to add a key member to our Global Technical and Regulatory Affairs team who will have overall responsibility for monitoring government policy and legislative issues relative to the California Almond industry. This position focuses on state and federal authorities, preparing responses, disseminating, and analyzing information related to regulatory issues, developing and implementing programs and events and creating communication materials. This position is a full-time, exempt role and can be performed remotely, preferably with in the state of California with ability to frequently travel to our headquarters in Modesto, CA.
