Q. How are you involved in the almond industry?

A. Helping finance farmers throughout the Central Valley with loans for all aspects of their almond operation (i.e. operating, development, land purchases, equipment, etc.)

Q. How did you get involved with the Almond Leadership Program and how many years have you been a mentor?

A. The ALP was recommended to me when I first started working for Yosemite Farm Credit as I wanted to get involved within the almond industry and make connections/networks after relocating back to Modesto and Oakdale after college in 2014. I completed the ALP in 2015 and became a mentor with the 2022 class.

Q. What is your favorite part of being a mentor in the Almond Leadership Program?

A. Definitely making new connections and networking, both with participants and mentors.

Q. What is your favorite memory during your time as a mentor?

A. Watching the participants grow and connect throughout the program.

Q. What advice do you have for young almond leaders?

A. Continue to educate the consumer and be a strong advocate for the industry.

Q. How do you like to eat almonds?

A. I’m simple, Smokehouse.
