Applications Open for SWEEP Funding

2/13/2017

Funding of up to $100,000 per project for irrigation projects that provide water savings and greenhouse gas reductions is available through the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) State Water Efficiency and Enhancement Program (SWEEP).

To apply, growers must first access the Request for Applications for information on eligibility and program requirements. Check this site for information on a series of workshops in various locations that will provide hands-on application assistance. CDFA anticipates these workshops will be held from Feb. 13 to March 13, 2017.

All applicants must also register for an account and submit an application through the Financial Assistance Application Submittal Tool (FAAST). Applications and all supporting information must be submitted electronically using FAAST by March 14 at 5 p.m.
