Final, last minute details to make your experience at The Almond Conference smooth and enjoyable.

COVID-19 Guidelines

The safety of all Conference attendees is our number one priority. According to State of California requirements for large indoor gatherings, all attendees will be required to provide proof of vaccination or a negative test within 72 hours of their arrival at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center. Testing must be done prior to arriving at the Convention Center. Unfortunately, we cannot accept at-home or self-tests. Additionally, the County of Sacramento requires masks be worn indoors in public spaces, including the Convention Center. Thank you for following California guidelines and making this a safe and fun event!

PRE-EVENT VERIFICATION FOR VACCINATED ATTENDEES

Any time between now and Noon PST on December 5th, click here to upload your proof of vaccination to a secure website to verify your status and receive a Covid Express Pass. You can also email vaccine@driphydration.com* with the subject line: First and Last Name – Almond Conference 2021. In the email, please include the following information:

  • First and Last Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Event Name: Almond Conference 2021
  • Photo of vaccine card
  • Copy of Photo ID

*HIPPA compliant address

Please allow at least 3 business days from submission to receive your Covid Express Pass.

ON-SITE VERIFICATION FOR VACCINATED/UNVACCINATED ATTENDEES
Vaccine or test verification is required for The Almond Conference 2021. If you have not emailed and received a Covid Express Pass from Drip Hydration, you will need to follow the signs to the Covid Verification booth for medical personnel to verify your vaccine card or your test results. Testing must be done prior to entering the Almond Conference. Unfortunately, we cannot accept at-home or self-tests. Once approved, medical personnel will provide you with a Covid Pass, where you can then proceed to Registration. Please remember that the state of California now requires an ID as part of the verification and entrance process. All attendees must present an ID with their verification status.

Accepted Forms of Vaccine Cards:

  • CDC Covid-19 Vaccination Record Card
  • Digital CDC Vaccine Card in the CLEAR Health Pass App (free to download in the App Store or Google Play)
  • California residents may show a screenshot or downloaded image of their CA.gov SMART Health Card Record (name, DOB and dose dates must visible)

Drip Hydration will be available for onsite verification during the following hours:

  • Monday, December 6: 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Exhibitors only)
  • Tuesday, December 7: 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, December 8: 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 a.m.
  • Thursday, December 9: 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Other important information:

  • Pre-event verification will close at noon on December 5.
  • Attendees age 12 and over need to show proof of vaccination or negative test to attend.
  • Per the state of California, attendees age 18 and older must provide identification to enter any large indoor event. Registration will ask for this along with Covid Pass at counter.
  • Per the state of California, all attendees over the age of 2 are required to wear a mask that covers both the nose and mouth at all times, unless actively eating or drinking.
Registration

NEW for 2021, all registration badges will be printed onsite.  Pre-registered attendees will receive an email with a QR code prior to the Conference.  Once onsite at the registration kiosk, attendees may scan their QR code to automatically pull up their registration and print their badge. Attendees who do not use the QR code may type in their name at the kiosk to pull up their registration, as well. The kiosks will be staffed for any assistance that is needed. Please have your Covid Express Pass and  Photo ID ready for Registration Staff to check prior to badge printing.

  • Monday, December 6: 2:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. (Exhibitors only)
  • Tuesday, December 7: 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, December 8: 7:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, December 9: 7:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Food Trucks 

Food trucks will be available on Tuesday, Dec. 7, from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. to offer attendees convenient dining options. There will be ample seating with tables and chairs in Hall A near the Almond Stage. Food trucks are planned for two locations adjacent to the convention center: 

  • Location 1: 13th street, located off the West Lobby (see map in Conference Program) 
  • Location 2: J Street (see map in Conference Program)

In a hurry? Order ahead. Food trucks now accepting online orders. Just use your mobile device to place your order and then go to the food truck to pick it up! The location for ordering/pick-up would be the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center on 13th and J streets.

Parking Information

City Parking

  • Lot D – 110 spaces (12th & I Street)  
  • Lot X – 181 spaces (2nd & N Street)  
  • Lot Y – 32 spaces (2nd & O Street)  
  • State Capitol - 15th Street, between L and N Streets, on the west side
    • This area has a 3-hour maximum parking time limit. For State Capitol security no overnight parking is allowed and parking regulations are strictly enforced.
  • Front Street Parking – Front Street, south of O Street and Riverfront Promenade
  • Lot 293 - 401 I St Sacramento, CA 95814
    • Based on a First come first serve basis.
    • Bus parking is free.
    • 321 spaces (West portion near Railroad Museum) - This is the Amtrak lot but she specifically mentioned that the West side of this lot closest to the RR Museum was grossly underused and would lend well to oversized vehicle parking.
