Abhijeet (Abhi) Kulkarni is Principal, Technical & Trade Issues and his responsibilities include monitoring international trade and technical issues that could affect the almond industry exports, providing assistance to industry members in resolving regulatory compliance issues, and representing the industry in various stakeholder forums.

Prior to joining the Almond board, he spent almost 10 years at the California Walnut Board & Commission as an Assistant Director of Regulatory & Industry Affairs. And having started his career at Blue Diamond Growers in early 2000s, he brings a wealth of tree nut industry experience.

Being a travel and photography enthusiast, Abhi and along with his wife, Veronica, often travel, hike and camp around California.  Among his favorite areas to photograph are the redwood forests in Northern California. He has visited every continent.
