Chef Notes

Defatted almond flour and tapioca flour are combined to create a hybrid boba pearl for use in popular beverages like bubble tea. The Almond-Tapioca Boba Pearls create a hybrid pearl for use in different flavored bubble teas and beverages for food service or RTD. Blending tapioca with defatted almond flour can help add plant-based protein to boba pearls.
