Banana Almond Granola

Serves: 12
  • ½ cup whole almonds
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil
  • ½ cup banana chips
Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF and spray a cookie sheet with nonstick cooking spray or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Combine rolled oats and almonds in large bowl. Add cinnamon, maple syrup and avocado oil and mix, making sure all ingredients are evenly coated with maple syrup and oil.
  3. Spread the granola out on the cookie sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Remove granola from the oven and cool completely. Add banana chips and toss. Store in airtight container.
